Tarangire
National Park

This national park is honestly our personal favorite.

 

Although you’re more likely to see the big 5 in some of the other National Parks, this park is home to the largest population of elephants this side of the country!

 

Some have even dubbed this park ‘elephant paradise’ and for anyone who has been up close with a herd of elephants, you know just how spectacular they are!

And if you haven’t yet then this park is the one for you!

 

This National Park is named after the Tarangire river that runs through the Park.

 

This impressive river attracts all manner of wildlife to its rippling banks.

 

Thanks to this river it’s easy for visitors to spot elephants, giraffe, lions, antelope, zebra and much more!
