The annual migration of more than 1.5million wildebeest as well as huge groups of zebra and Thomson's gazelle, Grant's gazelle and eland passing Serengeti National Park to Maasai Mara in Kenya through Mara River, that occurs from July to October.
This is the greatest wildlife spectacle in Africa that starts in the south of the Serengeti to Northern part With about 800 kilometer trek of the immense wildebeest, about a half million of calves are born on the way and they become target from predators. This is the largest animals migration on earth.
There is a big challenge for animals to cross the River (s) where Mara River has about 3,000 crocodiles who are waiting to kill and moving tides. But also that part of Serengeti has more than 30 prides of Lion and other predators. Wildebeest migration is a lifetime experience

Day 1.
Arusha
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro Intl Airport, you'll be greeted by a senior safari guide and drive you to the hotel in Arusha for dinner and overnight stay.
You will spend the night at Forest Hill Hotel
Day 2.
Arusha >Ngorongoro
You will be pick up from accommodation in Arusha by our drive/ guide with picnic lunch boxes en route and spend a full day at Ngorongoro Crater tour.
We will drive 2000ft down the crater by a 4wheel drive safari jeep, explore the crater before heading and drive to your accommodation set on a crater rim.
The large volcanic Caldela that measures 22.5km across and the rim walls stand 600m high is part of Tanzania’s eco-system. It is also the home of 30,000 animals and different species of birds.
You will spend the night at Migombani Camp
Day 3.
Ngorongoro > North Serengeti
After breakfast you will be transferred to Manyara airstrip for your flight to Serengeti North. Upon arrival, you will meet your driver/ guide for a full day game drive spotting the wildebeest migration crossing points.
Northern part of Serengeti is an essential area for the wildebeest great migration from July up to October, where you will witness the thrilling river crossings that are big highlight of the great migration, when Wildebeest and Zebra attempt crossing Mara River to Masai Mara in Kenya battling huge Nile crocodiles and strong currents.
Also the area is very popular for the large Elephant herds especially the Lobo valley which is very good for Elephant, Lobo Hills are the home of large Lion prides. It is not unusual to spot Leopard, Cheetah, and hyena, as well as diverse animals such as giraffe, Topi, Eland, buffalo, hartebeest on a game drive.
At 4pm we head to your accommodation for evening bush TV, dinner and overnight

Day 4.
Northern Serengeti
After an early breakfast we start our full day of game viewing with your packed lunch boxes. It is not easy to see wildebeest and Zebra crossing the Mara River to the opposite side on one day, Hundreds and thousands of wildebeest/ Zebra gather on the River bank desperately looking at green pasture on the other side of the River, only one brave wildebeest takes literal plunge then others follow.
Nevertheless we will have opportunity to see predators such as Lions, Leopard, cheetah making their role in the eco system. Wagakuria area has the highest number of animals, with up to 30 strong prides of Lion
from July to October Northern Serengeti becomes a wildlife paradise.
Note: Sometimes it is a matter of luck to find animals crossing.
After game drive we will be heading back to your accommodation for evening bush TV, dinner and overnight

Day5.
Northern Serengeti
Start early morning to enjoy a full day of game drive at the Mara River and Lobo area looking for the great migration crossing point, Before going back to your accommodation for the evening bonfire, dinner and overnight.

Day6.
Serengeti >Arusha
Start our final day after breakfast for a morning game drive.(depends the time of your flight) In the afternoon you will be transfered to Kogatende Airstrip for your flight to Arusha.
