National Park

Amboseli National Park formerly known as Maasai Amboseli Game Reserve is located in Kaijado County.


The park is estimated 392 km2 (151 sq.mi) in size at the core of an 8,000 square kilometres (3,100 sq. mi) ecosystem that spreads across the Kenya-Tanzania border.


Amboseli National Park is one of nice and the best places in Africa for sighting large herds of elephants up close, it is one of the best wildlife experienced with 400 species of birds including water birds like pelicans, kingfishers, crakes, hamerkop,


Five different attractions that nature lovers can experience are, ranging from the dried-up bed of Lake Amboseli, wetlands with sulphur springs, the savannah and woodlands, and visit a Maasai village that is around the park and experience their culture and tradition.

Ambosile National Park offers some of the best opportunities to view African Wildlife, the climatic pendulum can change from drought to flood and the graze is sparse because of long, dry months.


This protected area is home to; African bush Elephant, Cape buffalo, Impala, Lion, Cheetah, Spotted Hyena, Maasai Giraffe, Grant’s Zebra and blue Wildebeest.
